CS Lewis: The Story of the Converted Mind narrates a short biography of an atheist CS Lewis in relation to conversion to Christianity, the conscious struggle he went through before believing Christ, his love life with Joy and his defend towards the faith in Christianity.

The book has the saga of CS Lewis being thoroughly converted step by step process through imagination, reasons and expectations as he searches deep into religious writings.  Lewis had notion of dead GOD because of the grief he suffered for his Christian mother’s death by cancer leaving behind his brother WH Lewis. Slowly notion of dead GOD starts to disappear as Lewis starts life’s journey through imagination and reasoning, finally convinced by the historical fact of resurrected Jesus unique against all the other religious figures.  Later he would suffer pain due to wife’s death owing to bone cancer, but is able to overcome such grief with the spiritual lifting from the scriptures maintaining his stand on Christian faith unlike his atheist condition caused by mother’s death in childhood.

The book has been published by Discovery series aiming to supply journey of atheist of CS Lewis to Christian faith with 34 pages. It lists noted books of Lewis-The Miracle, The abolition of Man, The Mere Christianity, The Grief Observed, Chronicles of Narnia among others.  The book is a great read for anyone wanting brief introduction to the life of Lewis.
